Convention site moved to Rosen Centre in Orlando, Florida

On June 26th, the LNC was informed by Rosen Hotels that they had made a business decision not to re-open Rosen Shingle Creek, and asked to move the convention 2 miles away to the Rosen Centre, and make use of the Orange County Convention Center to provide for social distancing. After a week of negotiations, the LNC has agreed to this move. All reservations are to be moved automatically to the Rosen Centre.

Face masks will be required in public in Orange County and Orlando

Starting at 12:01AM on Saturday, June 20, face masks will be required in public in Orange County and Orlando.  This mandate, which also applies to the city of Orlando, states that every person either working, living or visiting must wear a mask in public starting Saturday.  This includes common areas within the hotel, such as foyers, the hotel lobby, elevators, etc.  Inside of privately reserved spaces, such as your hotel room, facemasks are optional.

As part of the delegate package, a number of facemasks will be provided.

The mandate doesn’t state how long this will be required, so it may change by the 2nd week in July.  We will continue to update delegates and attendees through alerts on this website.
